When transplanted from Connecticut to California at the age of seven, Bryan had no idea
that his new home would be the source of a powerful hybrid of culture and technology. It
didn't take long for him to realize that he belonged in Silicon Valley.
Bryan has always been the curious type, anxious to get a look behind the scenes find out exactly
how things work. And then, one day, his elementary school decided to buy an Apple II and
put it on a desk in the back of his classroom. Ever since that day 15 years ago, he has
made sure there is a keyboard nearby.
In 1988, he left San Jose to study Computer Science and the
hopping party culture at
Chico State University.
After that, he returned home to San Jose State to become
involved with their Radio, Television and Film program. He is currently exercising his 8
years of professional computer experience as a product specialist at a major Internet service
provider. This position allows him to utilize his unique mix of technical and communications
skills as the "customer advocate" and technical liason for marketing, engineering and sales.
He's also single-handedly responsible for the design/implementation/maintenance of the
intranet support website, acts as a technical contact for multiple vendor alliances, and a
technical representative at all trade shows.
When he's torn away from his CRT, he can be found laying down the bass groove as part of
the musical project known as Namaste. Now, if he could only find the time
to catch a Sharks game, strap on the blades for some
roller hockey, blaze the slopes for a little snowboarding, or motor to the mountains for some
off-road adventures...
