Please attempt to contain your panic, but
this is the Mendocino outdoor organic jam
guaranteed to make your freak sensors peak
and make you smile because ya know we really don't tweak
so to speak, we're unique
because we understand the future doesn't have to be bleak
I guarantee we're gonna find a way
to raise our spirits today...
this life's an education
preparing us for the next situation
sending you a positive vibration
I hope you hear it up on your space station
Once upon a summer in the misty mountains
my life took a turn that I was not counting on...
the clouds were below us
and someone came along only to show us
the way to the place where others had gathered
so there we all were, torn and tattered
lovin' the sunlight on our skin
sharing the work and the play we begin
to understand the way we really oughta live
it's pretty simple - take less than you give
respect what you get, you know nothin's for free
I know I got a light watchin' over me
never mind the po-po, pass the bread
and remember what a wise man said
faith without works is dead
so be careful what you put in your head
this life's an education
preparing us for the next situation
so if you're looking for somethin' to do
pick yourself up and bust out the MOO Jam
Hey! You're livin' today
some people six feet deep so what you got to say?
Damn! You did it again
so now you're all set for another spin on the
big wheel...it's a thing that you feel
and if you don't win it's not a big deal
What? You're feelin' stuck in a rut?
nothin's gonna change till you get off your butt
and make a change, even though it seems strange
positivity comes in a wide, wide range of
colors...shapes and sizes,
sexes and creeds, not to mention disguises.
Fork in the road, bowl in my hand
One way's an endless loop, the other is the promised land
Hard to decide which way to go,
but I never had a choice just so you know
it really shouldn't come as a giant surprise
when you find Namaste with the indica sunrise
plantin' seeds in a sea of trees
hangin' a bucket, makin' friends with the bumble bees
You might find yourself walkin' the high-wire
barefoot with buckets in your hands and your head's on fire
Don't slip, don't lose your grip,
just pretend your brain is a cruiseship
I take it light 'cos I'm a heavy herb smoker
I'm the king, ace, jack, and the joker
Rollin' with my queen to the 4 and the 2 house
To pick up an "O" yeah, you know what I'm talkin' about
This life's an education
preparing us for the next situation
get ready for a one world nation
talkin' 'bout a planet earth celebration
