December 17, 1997 After a nice little break, show #3 is in the books. At least we started at the advertised time slot on this one. Once again, Cactus' sound system proves that it needs some work. We scored another gig there, but haven't worked out the details as of yet. Stay tuned.

November 23, 1997 Well, show #2 has been conquered and show #3 is lined up (see Tour section). It went mostly well, except for a little problem with the show time... apologies to all that showed up and had to listen to us from the line outside - we missed you! At show #3, we will be supporting Incubus and SJ locals Jalopy Taco Stand. This is Incubus' first show on their headline tour (they and Sugar Ray have been busy opening for 311 on their latest tour). Check out their site... we were lookin' at it last night and their stuff rocks.

November 12, 1997 Namaste played their debut live show at the Cactus Club in their home town, San Jose, California. The house was packed and all ran smoothly as the band belted out 7 of the songs from their up-coming CD. The Cactus Club has asked the band back for a second appearance on November 23rd at 9:00 opening for Marcy Playground (of "Sex and Candy" fame).

November 5, 1997 All tracks for the first single, "The M.O.O. Jam" are complete. A few finishing touches and a re-mix are all that stand between Namaste and your radio.

October 31, 1997 Namaste has begun recording their self titled debut album at Sy Klopps Studios in San Francisco, CA. The band will produce the album with Henry Sarmiento, long time sound egineer for Inka Inka. Some key tracks will feature the harmony vocals of Clea, a veteran of Bug's old band Chronic Vision. The album will also feature original artwork by Barbara, a local artist and friend of the band. Old friends, Muzic.com will be releasing the CD via Liquid Audio at the time of it's completion.
